5 April 1917 - Departed NZ aboard HMS Devon as part of 24th Reinforcements

11 June 1917 - Marched into Sling Camp, England to continue training

6 July 1917 - Left Sling for France

10 July 1917 - Arrived Etaples base-camp, France, to complete training

11 August 1917 - Joined 14th Company, 2nd Battalion, Otago Regiment

10 October 1917 - Moved into the 'firing line' for the 2nd time

12 October 1917 - 14th Company, 2nd Battalion, Otago Regiment assembled for an attack on Bellevue Spur in Battle of Passchendaele

12 Oct 1917 - Alec Mee Killed in attack on Bellevue Spur, Belgium

19 November 1917 - Court of Enquiry finds he was "Missing believed killed in the field". He was a few days short of 31 years 6 months old.
